A man with glasses and a beard playing an acoustic guitar and singing into a microphone outdoors on a grassy area, with cars and a small tree in the background.
A man sitting on a chair playing an acoustic guitar, smiling, while a woman in a pink dress stands next to him, smiling and resting her hand on his shoulder, inside a room with large windows and greenery outside.
A happy golden retriever dog sitting on grass and dirt in a garden, smiling with tongue out, surrounded by green plants and small flowers.

About

I live in Potsdam, NY with my wife, Katharine, and our dog, Otto. I have been playing guitar for over 25 years and have spent the past 20 years teaching, both privately and through public programs across the North Country.

I have received two grants from the St. Lawrence County Arts Council’s Statewide Community Regrants Program to support after-school guitar programs at Potsdam A.A.K. Middle School (2024) and Colton-Pierrepont Middle School (2025). In 2024, I was also selected to attend the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) "Artist as Entrepreneur" conference at St. Lawrence University.

I currently maintain a consistent private lesson schedule, offering both virtual and in-person instruction, along with annual student guitar recitals. I also perform a blend of modern folk, Americana, and bluegrass regularly throughout the North Country, both as a soloist and in a duo with my wife.
